Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Sarah Burk

Director of Alternative Education
Sarah Burk is the Director of Education at the Butler County Juvenile Justice Center, via the Butler County Educational Service Center. Prior to assuming this role, Sarah was a special education teacher, supervisor and director in Butler County. Sarah serves on a variety of committees and teams in Butler and Hamilton Counties, as well as at the state level, to continue to work collaboratively to best serve the families in the tristate area. Sarah’s passion for working with at-risk youth fuels her drive to continue to build programming for students. She is committed to serving students and families using a holistic approach, in order to meet all of their needs.
