Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Kelly Freiheit, Associate Partner, will be the engagement manager. Kelly has supported districts and schools across the country with innovative implementations at the district and school level, including Lakota Local Schools (OH); Loudoun County Public Schools (VA); Charleston County School District (SC); Hartford Public Schools (CT); Polk County Schools (TN) among others. Kelly has worked in different capacities at Education Elements from scaling personalized learning implementations, redefining and shifting district roles to better support strategic plans to supporting members of the cabinet with enacting responsive practices to ultimately support better outcomes for students and their communities. Prior to joining EE, Kelly was a former blended learning science teacher from Charlotte, NC. Her work inside and outside of the classroom was a part of the Opportunity Culture positions with Project L.I.F.T., where she was recognized as Meck Ed Teacher of the Year in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for the 2013-2014 SY. She worked alongside of district leaders as they developed the principal pipeline in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in the mid-2000’s.
