Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Gifted Intervention Teacher
Kate Ramsdell has been a Gifted Intervention Specialist, K-12, for many years. Prior to that, she was an MSW clinical psychotherapist and facilitated cultural diversity workshops in schools, businesses, hospitals, and mental health settings. Her interest in Native American studies started when she observed deficits in student learning and subsequently examined standards, textbooks, and literature. She serves as a board member with the Greater Cincinnati Native American Coalition. She participated in the 2019 National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Institute on Teaching Native American Histories.
