Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

kindergarten teacher
Shannon Knutson is entering her fifth year of teaching kindergarten at Loveland Early Childhood Center. She has her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Master's of Education in Reading. Since student teaching in a school using Responsive Classroom, she has explored various ways to integrate social emotional learning and culturally responsive practices in education. For the past two years, she has focused on incorporating principles from Conscious Discipline and is eager to share how this experience has empowered students and created a strong classroom community.
