Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Heidi Weber lives and teaches 3rd and 4th grade gifted reading in Loveland, Ohio. Heidi has an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a gifted endorsement and is a Google Level 1 Certified Educator. As a National Board Certified Teacher with 20 years elementary experience, Heidi was selected as a 2015 PBS Digital Innovator and received the 2015 OCTELA Special Distinction Award for ELA Education as well as the 2013 NCTE Donald H. Graves Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Writing. While Heidi has presented locally in her area and state, she has also presented nationally for SDE, NAGC, ILA, ISTE and NCTE national conferences. Heidi currently serves on OCTELA’s executive board as gifted liaison, Southwest Ohio Regional Rep, and advice columnist and has been active with NAGC as a columnist and proposal reviewer. She was a contributor to Online Teaching K-12 (Information Today, 2016).
