Robin Hornberger just completed her seventeenth year of teaching social studies. She has spent sixteen of those years in the West Clermont School District teaching both middle and high school students. She taught one year at Oak Hills High School. Ms. Hornberger earned her BA with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1997 majoring in East Asian History and minoring in foreign affairs. She holds an M.Ed. with a focus on literature from Xavier University. Ms. Hornberger currently teaches Honors American History and AP American Government and Politics, but she has taught a variety of courses in her career including Civil War Battlefields, Capstone (a research course for eighth graders), Applied Geography, and Current Issues. Ms. Hornberger is a board member of the West Clermont Education Foundation, through which she operates the Run for the Future Scholarship Fund. She has run eighteen marathons and loves to travel.
