Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

The 2019-2020 school year will be my 20th year in education. I have been teaching in the Oakwood City School District since 2003. Prior to that I taught at St. Luke Catholic School in Beavercreek, Ohio. I love instilling a passion for learning in my students while teaching about the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

I am the Program Leader for our building's science immersion trips. We have traveled to Iceland, the Galapagos Islands, and are in the midst of planning a trip to the Great Barrier Reef for June 2020.
