Keith Koehne

Lakota Local Schools
Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Keith leads a team of passionate educators whose mission is to serve the Lakota teachers who are working tirelessly to meet the needs of every Lakota student and help them realize their dreams.

In Keith's Words:
Since I first felt called to be a teacher, I have felt it was my obligation to serve as many kids as possible. After all, from those to whom much has been given, much is expected. I have been given so much by my own teachers, mentors and students that I have a lot to pay back.
I spent the first 19 years of my professional career in the Mariemont City School District, serving as a teacher, coach, advisor, elementary principal, technology director and junior high school principal. I was then fortunate to spend four years as assistant superintendent for human resources at Loveland City Schools. I loved recruiting, onboarding and coaching teachers and principals to serve the students in my community. In 2017, I was blessed to join the Lakota team in my current role.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Erin, and four sons. I still get to coach their soccer and basketball teams and cheer on my oldest son who is a phenomenal dancer.
