I have always loved connecting the reading and writing process and I am a lifelong learner in this domain. I earned my Masters in Reading and Literacy from Georgia State, was selected as Atlanta Public Schools outstanding teacher of reading, and was trained extensively in ELLI and Modeled Writing while teaching in Atlanta. I also served as the primary grades writing coach and the 1st grade model classroom for Cobb County school district. I have been a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and ESL teacher for 13 years. I enjoy brainstorming with colleagues and serving as a writing coach!
