Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

In the 2018-2019 school year, Mason High School students engaged in a crowd-sourced innovation project. Nearly 70 ideas were submitted by students and voted on literally hundreds of thousands of times by fellow students, staff, and community members. These winning ideas were crowned IDEA CHAMPIONS and went on to execute their ideas via a Design Thinking workshop.

This is their story! This session will feature a panel of students talking about their own personalized learning experience, what they thought of the process, and what they might suggest to other districts that may want to try their own student-voice initiative.
