Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Limited Capacity filling up
A perfectly planned lesson does not reach a student who suffers from a lack of emotional control, coping skills, and/or emotional resources. This session will explore how a lack of emotional control develops, how this affects learning for an individual and the whole class, and how to best help students who lack emotional control, resources, and coping skills. Interactively, participants will explore and discuss how to develop emotionally safe classrooms and strategies to use with students in times of emotional chaos. Bring questions, ideas, and personal situations to share!
