Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Limited Capacity filling up
In order to equip students with self-regulation, mindfulness, and tools to better focus their attention and energy, educators must model. This session will help participants consider a framework to help students better navigate the implications of social media, perfectionism, and societal pressures that can impact their sense of self. The presenter will introduce mindful strategies for the educator to incorporate in their own lives and classroom. Participants will experience activities and learn strategies on how to incorporate positive psychology, gratitude, and intentional goal-setting.
