Collaboration is one of the many pillars of being an effective educator. What can happen when teachers of various content areas collaborate and teach the same students together during the same learning block? What happens when teachers are collaborating to teach the same students at the same time?
During this session, participants will discuss what happens when teachers of various content areas teach together during the same learning block. Participants will discuss the preparation, lesson design, potential roadblocks, and best practices that provide students opportunities to learn English, History, Math, and more during the same learning block.
Ideas and best practices in this session include: lesson presentation, digital breakouts, blended learning stations, formative assessments, anecdotes, learning games, creating classroom community, advice, overcoming hurdles, and so much more! Participants will leave ready to grab a “teaching buddy” of a similar or different content area and successfully teach together!
