In the 2018-2019 school year, Oak Hills High School embarked on a personalized professional learning journey. Each teacher pursued a personal professional learning goal aimed at supporting student learning and growth. Learn about our journey to empower teachers to own their learning and, in doing so, benefit student learning. Workshop participants will explore concepts and benefits of personalized professional learning through think-pair-shares and collaborative brainstorms. Teacher leaders will share experiences from our first year of personalized professional learning. Finally, participants will have time to explore what this could look like in their school contexts.
