Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Learn how to use innovative resources and technology to engage students in a PBL experience, incorporating all subjects, in creating their own amusement park!
Teachers will learn how to challenge students to plan, design and then build an amusement park designed for the Where in the World is Dr. Dunn? Robotics Competition. Presenters will collaborate with participants using think-pair-share and small groups to discuss ways to research information in the classroom and then how to incorporate that research into a slide presentation. Presenters will walk educators through the steps to get their students ready with design engineering and leave with information for next year's competition.
