Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Lisa Combs has provided professional development and classroom embedded coaching for hundreds of co-teachers in many school districts across Ohio. In this presentation, participants will explore the most common barriers to effective co-teaching, as well as leadership solutions to each barrier. The presentation will involve participants in a roundtable discussion of 10 simple but critical considerations to support effective co-teaching partnerships with the goal of improving outcomes for ALL learners.
