Limited Capacity full

This session will engage educators and offer innovative ways to get students up and moving in your classroom! We have incorporated movement, stretching, breathing, dance, team building, community - Why I like team… (writing), neuroscience, BrainGym, brainteasers, 3 Brain warm-up, Walk & Talks, Tour Guides and many other fun engaging activities to help create student involved learning. Also, Dan has created “Test under Duress” - to boost focus and confidence in high stakes tests. The Dore method will also be demonstrated as a tool to increase focus. Many of these activities will be incorporated in to the presentation. This presentation will require class participation from educators so that they can experience the positive effects that these strategies will have! Participants will also be encouraged to THINK of one way to incorporate movement in their classroom--PAIR up with another educator--and SHARE out their ideas of incorporation! We will also speak to encouraging mindfulness in the classroom, in addition to movement, to allow for deeper relationships to develop which, in turn, can boost student confidence and student test scores.
