Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Limited Capacity filling up
Preschoolers and Kindergartners learn best through social interactions and play. All across the country, the Daily 5 is known for increasing student independence and engagement, as a great resource in developing literacy skills and phonological awareness. During this session, participants will look at the most impactful elements of the Daily 5 and how teachers can implement them into their instruction. Participants will be asked to share examples of how they best support literacy in their classrooms. This professional development is also Ohio Approved in The Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA).
