Welcome to the 2019 High AIMS Summer Institute! 

High AIMS is a consortium of 30 public school districts in southwest Ohio. Fairfield City Schools will serve as this year’s host to 2,000+ educators for our 6th annual Summer Institute. We will offer two nationally acclaimed keynote speakers and 250 breakout sessions as teachers and administrators immerse themselves in dynamic and inspiring professional learning.

Limited Capacity filling up

Students are surrounded by opinions – in their everyday life and in the world, but learning to read and write opinions is a complex skill. Join the Ohio Writing Project in this 45 minute session to explore the way teachers in grades 4-6 have been using National Writing Project opinion writing resources to build student writing skills. Students learn to read non-fiction, write claims and support their opinions and arguments. Teachers will leave the session with writing project resources ready for classroom instruction.
