Christie's 25 years of experience in architecture includes an emphasis on managing and designing educational facilities. Her interest in the role architecture plays in the transformation of learning has informed much of Christie's design work.

Christie has extensive experience managing complex, multi-phased projects ranging from small renovation projects to $130 million dollar 550,000 sf educational facilities. Her emphasis on understanding the clients' mission, education model and culture, as well as their vision, results in long term relationships based on mutual trust and thoughtful communication.

65% of our current kindergarteners will have a career that currently does not exist. Designing learning environments that challenge our children be problem solvers, creative thinkers, empathetic humans, and innovative creators will ensure the continued advancement of our society. This is where Christie’s passion lies. She focuses on the mental health of our students and how the built environment helps or hinders positive mental health. Through strategic relationships with mental health providers like Linder Center of Hope, Christie has worked side-by-side with clinicians to understand how the nuances of what and how we design our buildings effect the wellness of their inhabitants.
